Asbestos Inspections and Abatement

Ohio Technical Services completed the asbestos abatement activities in the boiler room of the Potter Stewart United States Federal Courthouse in Cincinnati Ohio. OTS completed this project as a subcontractor to a client that was awarded the combination GSA/CORF contract. Abatement activities included the removal of over 2000 linear feet of pipe insulation and the removal of asbestos containing insulation in three 2-story boilers. All work was conducted in the evenings and on weekends so as to not disturb the daily workings of the Courthouse. All OTS employees associated with the project underwent background security clearances to obtain access to the facility and were under the oversight of facility security while completing the work.
