Asbestos Inspections and Abatement

Providence R.E.E.S. & National Electric Coil

Ohio Technical Services has completed specialized abatement work for Providence R.E.E.S. and National Electric Coil. This work consisted of removing blocking, wedges, coils, and asbestos-containing slot liners from rotors. One example was a small 15' rotor that had 50 turns. Our strict time and material cost control showed we spent 32 hours to build containment, 172 hours to complete coil work and 4 hours to tear down the containment.
