Asbestos Inspections and Abatement

Onesto Hotel - Canton Ohio

Ohio Technical Services recently completed asbestos abatement and selective demolition activities in the historical Onesto Hotel in Downtown Canton Ohio. Abatement activities included the removal of interior walls, ceilings, floor coverings, piping, ducting, and boiler insulation material. Constant awareness of maintaining the historical integrity of the Onesto Hotel was a primary obligation that OTS undertook. In total, more than 2,500 cubic yards of asbestos containing material was removed from the Onesto in a three month period. This project was funded by the Ohio Department of Development as part of the Clean Ohio Assistance Fund.
